Radioactive Contaminated Tea More Found

Contaminated Tea Found At 5 More Plants

Radioactive cesium exceeding Japan’s legal limit has again been detected in processed tea from Shizuoka City, more than 300 kilometers from the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant.
Shizuoka Prefecture said on Tuesday that it detected about 580 to 650 becquerels of radioactive cesium per kilogram in the processed tea from 5 out of 20 factories in Shizuoka City. The legal limit is 500 becquerels.

The fundamental question is whether the vast array of industrial goods and components "Made in Japan" -- including hi tech components, machinery, electronics, motor vehicles, etc -- and exported Worldwide are contaminated? Were this to be the case, the entire East and Southeast Asian industrial base --which depends heavily on Japanese components and industrial technology-- would be affected. The potential impacts on international trade would be farreaching. In this regard, in January, Russian officials confiscated irradiated Japanese automobiles and autoparts in the port of Vladivostok for sale in the Russian Federation. Needless to say, incidents of this nature in a global competitive environment, could lead to the demise of the Japanese automobile industry which is already in crisis.

Construction of Chernobyl reactor shelter begins
The construction of a new shelter over the damaged reactor has begun at the Chernobyl nuclear plant in the former Soviet republic of Ukraine.

The work began on Thursday, the 26th anniversary of the world's worst nuclear disaster.

The Ukrainian government plans to build a 105-meter-high, arch-shaped containment building to cover the remnants of the exploded Reactor Number 4. The construction is to be completed in 3 years at a cost of over 1.2-billon dollars.

The new structure will cover the old, concrete and metal shelter built immediately after the accident, which is feared could collapse and release radioactive substances.

Water the new oil 3.3 billion liters of water lost every day due to leakages

Water the new oil 3.3 billion liters of water lost every day due to leakages
Keep water under public ownership

The service sector accounted for the largest proportion of public water supply,
using 56 per cent (709 million cubic meters) of water used by industry in
2006-07. The manufacturing industry accounted for 28 per cent (357 million cubic meters) and agriculture12 per cent (149 million cubic meters).

Experts at this week's World Water Week forum in the Swedish capital are

increasingly talking of fresh water as "the new oil", a finite resource that is
running out in some areas and will become more and more expensive with a
knock-on impact on consumer prices.
Marks & Spencer is working with WWF to calculate the water footprint of its
entire food and clothing ranges. M&S's technical director, David Gregory, said
the availability of water over the next decade was already a key part of the
company's strategic decisions about where to source food for its stores.

"We are already in discussion with WWF about our decisions about where to grow
crops in the future," he said.

Sainsbury's agronomist, Debbie Winstanley, confirmed that water would be "on
every agenda in sourcing food".

The Guardian goes on to say
The study makes the first attempt to measure the UK's total "water footprint"
and highlights the extent to which our imports come from countries which are
running out of fresh water. It calculates that:

· Average household water use for washing and drinking in the UK is about 150

litres a person daily, but we consume about 30 times as much in "virtual water",

used in the production of imported food and textiles;

· Taking virtual water into account, each of us soaks up 4,645 litres a day;

http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2008/aug/20/water.food1

NB (This does sound a bit extreme and on the verge of being virtually improbable)

Defra Report;
Approximately 6.3 billion cubic metres of water are used annually by businesses
in England and Wales. Electricity supply accounted for 60 per cent of the total
water used in 2006-07, most of it abstracted directly from surface sources. The
fish farming industry abstracted 20 per cent of the total and the manufacturing
sector accounted for 15 per cent.
This chart does not include water abstracted for household use. Households in

England and Wales account for approximately two thirds of public water supply.

What is the water used for?
What the water is used for depends on the country.

The pie charts below show the difference in water usage in four countries.

Pie chart showing Bangladesh's water usage Pie chart showing the UK's water usage
Pie chart showing the USA's water usagePie chart showing Malawi's water usage

In general LEDCs (like Bangaldesh and Malawi) will have most of their water used in agriculture (farming) and little in industry or domestic use. Bangladesh has farming as a large part of its economy so a large percentage of their water is used for that purpose.
MEDCs (like the UK) have a more significant use of water for domestic reasons. MEDCs also tend to have a higher percentage for industrial use.
There are exceptions. The USA is an MEDC, but it still has a high amount of water used for agriculture because there is also lot of farming across the country.

The Leveson Inquiry

The Leveson Inquiry

If any light shines on the Leveson inquiry it will most probably show that Murdoch is not only involved illicitly with the present government, but also that it had a large dealing in the set up of 'New Labour'.
We can see that new labour are very much removed from their origin, that of the working class. The working class are not truly being represented. If they were then the cuts would be found and taken from the rich rather than the working class who are the backbone of our lands.
These Islands should take a leaf out of Iceland’s book and tell the IMF and the World Bank to go and pester someone else for money.A few months ago the Bank of England printed over £175 billion pounds, and instead of directly injecting it into the economy and the people, they gave it to the city and bank and other corporate companies at 0.01 percent interest and told them to do something with it.
Well they are, they are creaming it in, with charges and interest on loans to the Public of 4% plus.
More recently George Osborne said he will be giving £10 billion pounds of the tax payer’s money to the IMF. This is unacceptable.
£10 billion pounds would aid in the creation of new industries, jobs, health, education, housing, travel.
The people of the UK cannot accept this corrupt, illicit government, the MPs must make the call, are they with the corrupt and ungodly, or are they with the people?
We do not need to borrow more money in order to get out of the financial crisis, we just need to make sure that the billionaires and millionaires give back to people and country what they have taken.
There is enough money right now to make a difference, we do not need to be fooled into the idea that we need to borrow more.
Wake up; it is now time, to bring the unjust to justice. This is what the Public want, this is what the Country needs, and indeed demands.

European_Human_Rights_conference_opens_in_Brighton_today

The Government are acting unconstitutionally if there are to be any changes to the peoples human rights we must have a National vote on it and all points and amendments suggested. Anything else is unlawful, demand your rights, do not let them change our Human Rights using the deportation of suspected terrorists as their excuse. Many of these MPs are suspected war criminals in the first place. We must not allow our hard fought for rights to be smashed by the elite and corrupt. http://www.gscene.com/news/European_Human_Rights_conference_opens_in_Brighton_today.shtml

Fukushima Major disaster unfolding

http://www.noaa.gov/
By Rohan Moxley

What is going on in Japan,

and who decided on behalf of the world population that it is ok to be using uncontrollable nuclear technology for the sake of profit ?

there are recent reports of a proposal to evacuate 40 MILLION people from Japan to mainland China
...
Loren Moret - a nuclear industry whilstleblower - estimated in late 2011 that 145 TRILLION leathal doses of radiation were released from Fukishima into the air and oceans of the world

The Fukishima nuclear event is the worst, largest and most dangerous man-made disaster in recorded history

i am informed that reactor-grade uranium has a half-life of 700 MILLION years

radiation is constantly being released from Fukishima
- every second of every day

The Japan nuclear disaster is putting the whole planet risk

what are our Aussie politician doing about it ?

what are world leaders and politicians doing about it ?

Why didn't our Aussie politicians tell the Australian public that Fukishima radiation was detected in Australia within 6 weeks of the nuclear disaster ??

which country sells unrefined uranium?

do you know how to manage your health in such times

damning judgement by a UK court on a government's flouting of democracy

By Dr Éoin Clarke (PhD)
Court rules that Tory NHS Bill was a violation of 2010 Manifesto
I have never read a more damning judgement by a UK court on a government's flouting of democracy. Below is the full judgement of the Information Tribunal into the Lansley's appeal of the Information Commissioner's November order to publish the NHS Risk Register after Labour MP & former Shadow Health Secretary John Healey's initial requests to do so back in June 2011. In this case the court unanimously decided that the NHS Bill was contrary to the Tory manifesto, unexpected, rushed, far reaching, pre-judged and without proper consultation. In effect, the judgement implies that the Tories cynically hid their plans to carve up the NHS prior to the 2010 election. You and I knew that of course, but to read it in black & white from a court judgement is truly unprecedented. This document below is a devastating indictment of the Tory handling of our democratic process. The judges unanimously ruled the Tory government should release the full contents of the NHS Risk Register.
Read paragraph 85, I did, and I am still numb with shock. Historians now have the black and white evidence from our own judicial system that the Tory party have betrayed the trust of the nation in the way they introduced and passed this bill. History will not forget this utterly shameful deed, and I sincerely hope that the voters do not either.
The exact wording of paragraph 85 is shown below.
“From the evidence it is clear that the NHS reforms were introduced in an exceptional way. There was no indication prior to the White Paper that such wide-ranging reforms were being considered. The White Paper was published without prior consultation. It was published within a very short period after the Coalition Government came into power. It was unexpected. Consultation took place afterwards over what appears to us a very short period considering the extent of the proposed reforms. The consultation hardly changed policy but dealt largely with implementation. Even more significantly the Government decided to press ahead with some of the policies even before laying a Bill before Parliament. The whole process had to be paused because of the general alarm at what was happening”

Tax relief for giving to charity.

If the government are to limit the amount of monies donated to charities in order to stop big money spinners from escaping paying tax, then the government must ensure, and show that all extra monies taken from these companies in tax will be used to directly aid charities.

History of privatization

The Thatcher government was able to carry out a privatization program far bigger than anyone would have expected at the start, and one that pushed back the frontiers of the state. In 1982 and 1984, the government's ownership share in North Sea oil and gas was privatized, creating among other things Enterprise Oil, today one of the world's largest independent oil companies. The government disposed of its share in British Petroleum -- acquired by Winston Churchill on the eve of the First World War. Ports and airports were privatized. Heathrow and other airports are now owned and operated by a private company, BAA, which also operates airports in the United States.
The first truly massive privatization was the hiving off of the state telephone system into British Telecom.... British Gas, British Airways, and British Steel followed. Later became British Coal and British Rail. The state-owned water system was privatized in the form of a series of regional water companies. Most massive of all was the breakup of the state-owned electric power monopoly into twelve regional distribution companies,* three generating companies, and one open-access grid company

On a +ve note;

Each one of us can make a difference. Together we make change.

Save your kind, your planet and its species nothing less will suffice.

George Osborne plans to issue 100-year, or even perpetual bonds to borrow money over the longer term at today's historically low interest rates. But their putting a cap on how many stamps you can buy.

1 trillion pound debt of the government, and they want the people to pay it off for them.
Sound familiar?
As a direct result of this they will be forcing pension funds to buy into it.
The risks are enormous on historic evidence loss will be the only outcome.

The government are now planning to offload their mountain of debt onto the public.
We the people must not allow these unscrupulous, unworthy people to do this.
The pound should stop here, all the elitists, the bankers, the corrupt governments, the illicit world finance bodies must be forced to pay what is due.
All debt is a result of mismanagement, be it with the euro, the pound sterling or any other currency.
This mismanagement has been conducted and overseen by the bankers, the corrupt governments, and the illicit world finance bodies.
The people must demand justice; these bodies cannot be trusted to regulate themselves, and their continued abuses of powers needs arresting.
They should all stand as charged ‘out of control.’

In the media there is talk of a Global Flash Crash, in gambling the house always wins.
If the house always wins, then who are those in control of the house?
Wake up People. Wake up World, stop the rot setting in.
Freedom, transparency and accountability, for your kind, your planet and its species nothing less will suffice.

Cameron talks to Aung San su Kyi about democracy

Today in the news, David Cameron is in Burma chatting on about the democracy, what a charlatan, an affront to all people of the UK, who know full well that the UK political and justice system is corrupt. The hacking enquiries are just the tip of the iceberg. Corruption is rife, with many jumping off the ship in order to avoid accountability or even prosecution, this should not be allowed. If democracy was real in the UK;
We wouldn’t be changing the NHS, we wouldn’t be charging for education, we wouldn’t be arresting development, we wouldn’t be allowing these imposters to hold seat or seal purporting that they are representing the people of the UK.
We would be arresting corrupt politicians, judges, police commanders, bankers and the criminals of war.
